Hello,

CodeFest'11 <http://itbhu.ac.in/codefest>, the annual international online
coding festival of Computer Engineering Society, IT-BHU presents *VIRTUAL
COMBAT* <http://itbhu.ac.in/codefest/event.php?name=virtual%20combat> to
prove that Codes do fight. Virtual Combat is a competition designed as an
extension to the educational game - Robocode<http://robocode.sourceforge.net/>,
where robotic tanks are programmed in JAVA to battle against other tanks in
a simulated battlefield. Watch out

.

Why should you participate?*

- *Exciting prize money* of* 35,000 INR*
- *New features* added to Robocode: *Obstacles*, Capturing the enemy
flag, new rules.

Hello Robocode programmers,

We would like to notify you that Virtual Combat
<http://itbhu.ac.in/codefest/event.php?name=virtual%20combat> is a
competition on an extension of Robocode, where a team has to capture the
enemy flag in the presence of obstacles. Have a look at the promotional
video http://youtu.be/v1rY3tyTj50 .

The submissions have already started. Few top programmers have gathered
and 1522 battles <http://itbhu.ac.in/codefest/vc-all-matches.php> have
already been fought in just 5 days of tourney. So, download the
application <http://itbhu.ac.in/codefest/virtual-combat-setup-2.1.jar>
and submit your robots <http://itbhu.ac.in/codefest/problem.php?pid=61>
to grab the prizes worth 35,000 INR. Phase 1 will end on March 7.

See you in the battlefield !
